处暑 (chǔshǔ) “end of heat” is the 14th solar term of the year and this year it fell on the 22nd of August.

Usually it means the end of summer heat in different parts of China, but some of them will still experience very warm weather, especially in the South. It’s a very tough time for farmers, because they will have to do the harvest.
