For Milano Design Week 2023, Italian Luxury brand GIADA and the Istituto Italo Cinese (Italy-China Cultural Institute) present a project dedicated to Leonardo da Vinci and his studies on the Ideal City, relaunching the Brand’s “Art to Art” philosophy, which for years has been involved in the promotion and dissemination of art in all its forms. This project is also one of the series event of GIADA Academy, a cultural and humanitarian community that GIADA has been dedicated to building.

From 18 to 23 April, in the spaces of the GIADA store in Via Montenapoleone 15, the model of the Ideal City inspired by Leonardo da Vinci’s drawings, created by the Veneranda Biblioteca Ambrosiana, will be exhibited.

To complete the project, in the spaces of GIADA Cultural Lounge, on the upper floor, some of the most famous drawings of da Vinci’s Codex Atlanticus dedicated to the city of Milan, to the study of nature and its water resources will be visible and it will be possible to discover some of the machines designed by Leonardo in augmented reality. With the personalization of PTC’s VUFORIA VIEW application, Softech‘s technical specialists, have made possible, using any portable device, to view
the three-dimensional models of Leonardo’s machines, created with PTC’s CREO CAD system.

Leonardo da Vinci is one of the most transversal and ingenious figures in the history
of Western culture: a genius capable of mixing art, design and engineering.
