Rice is an autonomous delivery robot developed by a tech company at Hong Kong Science Park.
As you can see in this amazing video, Rice is equipped with sensors and a camera and there is also a similar robot that sprays disinfectant!
Just key in the destination address and Rice delivers documents and food automatically…It even takes the lift by itself providing safe and contactless delivery for quarantined hotel guests!
It’s a brilliant way to fight the virus with high tech: the cute robot “Rice”, only 76 cm tall, and its team mates deliver food and documents, and disinfect places in a safe and they are already at work in several local quarantine hotels.
